Conservative candidates like McCain say that they want the states to be able to make their own laws regarding abortion. But they shouldn’t be allowed to make their own laws about *** marriage? Isn’t this a bit hippocritical? Lol Brian, yes McCain is a conservative. While all conservatives don’t share his views i’m sure, that wasn’t my point.

« I am doing a speech on legalization of *** and ******* Marriage for a targeted audience with the majority with no opinion on the topic. How can I make them interested in the topic? Why should they care if they are heterosexual? Any suggestions on how to have a more persuasive speech are welcomed. I just think if a *** or ******* couple want to get married they should be able to. I care about this issue even though I am heterosexual. How can I make others care as well?

    First McCain is not a Conservative. I believe most Conservatives as well as John McCain believe that states should be able to decide on their own marriage laws as well as abortion laws. Nice try though..

    McCain thinks that the states should decide abortion laws but Palin thinks it should be a federal issue. Both party candidates are against *** marriage. Just to clarify.
